Do you need a visa for Africa?
Choose your passport and where you're going. You'll see whether you need a visa, an e-visa or an eTA, what to have ready, and the official place to apply — before you pay a middleman for a form you can fill in yourself.

Visa questions
Where does this visa information come from?
From the open Passport Index dataset, which we show with its date. For each destination we're checking the rules against the government's own site and will mark the date when we have. Until a destination shows a confirmation date, treat the result as a strong starting point and check the official source before paying for anything.
Is Faylo a visa agent?
No. We're not an embassy or an immigration adviser and we can't approve a visa. We tell you what the rules look like and point you to the official place to apply, so you don't overpay a middleman for a form you can fill yourself.
What's the difference between an e-visa and an eTA?
An e-visa is a full visa you apply for online instead of at an embassy. An eTA (electronic travel authorisation) is a lighter online permission for travellers who don't need a visa. Both are applied for before you fly, and airlines may refuse to board you without one.
Should I pay an agent to apply for me?
For most e-visas and eTAs you don't have to — the application is an online form with a government fee. Agents add their own fee on top, sometimes more than the government charges. If you do use one, make sure the government fee is shown separately and that you pay by a traceable method.
