If a screen shows a 32-digit EID number alongside your IMEI, your phone supports eSIM. If you only see an IMEI and no EID, it likely doesn't.
Known eSIM-compatible phones
- iPhone XS and newer
- Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, most Z Fold/Flip models
- Google Pixel 3 and newer
Most budget Android phones (common Tecno, Infinix and itel models) don't yet support eSIM — the *#06# check above is the fastest way to know for sure on any device.
Saw an EID, but "Add eSIM" still isn't showing up?
That's a different problem than hardware support — it means your carrier line has eSIM management switched off, usually to discourage adding a competing eSIM like ours. It's common enough that most eSIM sellers have a page about it, and it can happen even on a phone you didn't buy from that carrier — simply inserting their SIM is enough for their settings to apply.
It's not something we can switch back on from our side — only your carrier can. Ask them directly to enable eSIM/cellular plan management on your line, or use a different phone to activate your Faylo eSIM. Either way, you're covered: message us and we'll sort out a refund if this is genuinely blocking you.
