Mozambique visa for Kenyan passport holders
Kenyan passport holders don't need a visa for Mozambique
Visa-free stays are up to 90 days. Longer stays, work and study usually need a visa.
Heads up: Mozambique launched a new eVisa and eTA portal on 11 February 2026. Nigerian passport holders cannot apply through it: Mozambique's own portal says to apply at the nearest Mozambican embassy or consulate instead. Ghana, Cรดte d'Ivoire and Senegal passports need an eTA for stays up to 30 days. Some African neighbours (including Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa) need no visa for 30 or 90 days.

Key rules for Mozambique were checked against Mozambique eVisa & eTA official portal in October 2026. Individual passport results come from Passport Index data as of February 2026, corrected where official sources disagreed. We corrected the standard dataset for this result: Mozambique's official portal lists you as visa-exempt for tourism and business. Rules change, so always check the official source before you pay or book. Faylo is not an embassy or immigration adviser.

Questions
Do Kenyan citizens need a visa for Mozambique?
Kenyan passport holders don't need a visa for Mozambique. Visa-free stays are up to 90 days. Longer stays, work and study usually need a visa. Confirm on Mozambique eVisa & eTA portal (National Immigration Service) before you pay or book, because entry rules change.
Should I use an agent to get a Mozambique visa?
Only if you want someone to handle the paperwork for you. Government fees are the same whether or not you use an agent, and agents add their own fee on top โ sometimes more than the visa itself. Check that the government fee is listed separately and avoid agents who ask for payment to a personal account.
