Saudi Arabia eSIM plans
Before you travel
- Install before you leave home, on Wi-Fi β airport counters get busiest exactly when you need them most.
- Keep your usual SIM in the phone for calls and any SMS verification codes; set the Faylo eSIM as your data line for maps, WhatsApp and staying in touch with your group.
- Groups get separated easily in large crowds β share your live location with your group over WhatsApp using your Faylo data.
- Many budget Android phones β including a lot of Tecno, Infinix and itel models β don't support eSIM yet. Dial *#06# and look for a 32-digit EID before you pay.

Common questions
Will my eSIM work in Makkah and Madinah?
Yes β Faylo's Saudi Arabia eSIM covers the whole country, including Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah.
Can't I just buy a SIM at Jeddah or Madinah airport?
You can, but expect long queues and higher prices, especially during Hajj and peak Umrah season. An eSIM installed before you fly skips that entirely β you land already connected.
Do I need a Saudi phone number for my Hajj or Umrah permit?
No. That's usually arranged by your travel agent (wakala) separately, often tied to your group's registration. Faylo's eSIM adds data only β for maps, WhatsApp and calling family β not a local phone number.
What if my phone doesn't support eSIM?
Check before you pay: dial *#06# and look for a 32-digit EID. If it isn't there, don't buy β and if something still goes wrong after you've paid, message us on WhatsApp and we'll refund you if your phone genuinely can't use it.
