Tips for Egyptians travelling to Morocco

  • Buy and install before you leave Egypt, on home or office Wi-Fi — not in the departure lounge.
  • Keep your Egyptian SIM in the phone for calls and bank OTP texts. Turn off data roaming on that line so it can't bill you in Morocco.
  • Set the Faylo eSIM as your mobile data line when you land. WhatsApp keeps working on your usual number.
  • Many budget Android phones — including a lot of Tecno, Infinix and itel models — don't support eSIM yet. Dial *#06# and look for a 32-digit EID before you pay.

Common questions

How much is a Morocco eSIM in Egyptian pounds?

Plans start at EGP 365 for 3 GB over 30 days. Choose EGP at checkout and that's the amount you're charged.

Does the price change with the exchange rate?

Our prices are set in US dollars and converted to Egyptian pounds at our current rate. The EGP amount shown at checkout is locked in for that order.

Will my Egyptian number still work in Morocco?

Yes — the eSIM only adds data. Your Egyptian SIM stays in your phone for calls and texts (your own network's roaming rates apply to those), and WhatsApp carries on as normal over your Faylo data.

What if my phone doesn't support eSIM?

Check before you pay: dial *#06# and look for a 32-digit EID. If it isn't there, don't buy — and if something still goes wrong after you've paid, message us on WhatsApp and we'll refund you if your phone genuinely can't use it.
