Which Apple phones support eSIM?
Every iPhone from the XS, XS Max and XR (2018) onward supports eSIM, and the iPhone Air is eSIM-only. The main exception is iPhones made for mainland China, which mostly use two physical SIMs instead.

Check your own Apple phone in 10 seconds
- 1. Dial *#06#. If you see a 32-digit EID number next to your IMEI, the phone has eSIM. Only an IMEI and no EID means it doesn't.
- 2. Look in settings: Settings β Mobile Service (or Cellular) β Add eSIM.
